They save you money

Every new home we build is highly insulated, fitted with quality double-glazing, the latest energy efficient central heating and hot water systems, water efficient dual-flush toilets and aerating taps – which is better for the environment and helps you save money on your bills.

New build homes are up to four times more energy efficient than older properties. According to the National House-Building Council Foundation and Zero Carbon Hub a new build four-bedroom detached home could be over 55% cheaper to run – that’s over £1,300 in today’s market:

  • A four-bedroom detached new home could be 55% cheaper to run.
  • A three-bedroom end terraced home could be 52% cheaper to run.
  • A one-bedroom ground floor apartment could be 47% cheaper to run.
  • A two-bedroom apartment could be 45% cheaper to run.

Insurance premiums are also often cheaper than those for older properties, so new build homes really offer great value for money.

Advances in building techniques, natural ventilation systems and new materials mean that new build homes can also offer health benefits over older properties, particularly if you suffer from allergies or asthma.
